Dear Families,

We are just one week away from our Rainbow Run—be sure to check out the details below, including links to volunteer and donate. Our Inflatable Race Kickoff this afternoon was a huge success—congratulations to Ms. Tauro’s class for taking the win!  We appreciate the PTA for organizing such a fun ending to the week, especially the delicious rainbow treat for staff.

We’re also excited to welcome a special schoolwide assembly this Monday: Smooth Jazz for Scholars—a wonderful last-minute opportunity for our students!

There are several additional upcoming events listed below with live links to register and volunteer, along with important information about SBA testing.

And finally, we hope to see many of you at the Bunny Hop Dance tonight or the second inclusive playdate tomorrow morning.

Have a great weekend!

Annamaria Simonelli, Principal

🚒Emergency Drills

Conducting emergency drills (fire, crisis, lockdown, etc.) is one of the most important ways we enhance our preparedness for students and staff during an emergency. Drills allow us to practice what we need to do when an emergency arises in our school.

Earlier this week, we conducted a fire/crisis drill. This was only a drill and was in accordance with the School Incident Management Protocols established by the district, in partnership with our local first responders. I am pleased to report that the drill was a success. It was efficient and timely.  If you have any feedback please reach out.  I want to thank our students and staff for their interest and participation in making our schools a safer place for learning.
