Dear Families,
What a special Principal’s Day! I felt so much love and appreciation from our incredible staff and students—thank you for the thoughtful cards, warm hugs, and the beautiful plant from our PTA. I am truly honored to serve as principal of CPM.
Tonight, we’re looking forward to our very first Mini Golf Night—thank you to Mr. Stack and the team of students and adults who have worked so hard to bring this event to life.
It’s been a great week of SBA testing, with students staying focused and positive. Looking ahead, we have a busy and exciting week: our district art show at Parsons on Monday, the Mayor’s Youth Award Ceremony on Wednesday evening where several of our students will be recognized, and our chorus concert that same night at 6:30 PM.
Most importantly, next week is all about our amazing teachers and staff. In partnership with the PTA, we have several surprises planned for Staff Appreciation Week.
Thank you for being such a supportive and amazing school community. I hope to see several of you tonight, there is still time to sign up for a tee-time!

Placement for Next School Year |
If you wish to provide information for our team to use in placing your child in a classroom next year, please send an email to Mrs. Simonelli by May 15, at asimonelli@milforded.org.
Our goal is to meet the needs of every student while prioritizing balanced classes, factoring in academic, social, and behavioral needs, and class size.
While you cannot request a particular teacher, please provide any information about what type of environment best suits your child's learning style. Additionally, we cannot guarantee specific placements. Questions? - Just reach out!
