Calf Pen Meadow Elementary School

News from the Meadow

September 26, 2025

Dear Calf Pen Meadow Families,

It's hard to believe September is already coming to an end, and early next week we'll be welcoming October!

This past week, I had the pleasure of hosting several lunch groups with our 5th grade students (pictures below!). It was such a blast - we talked, laughed, and played games together. I'm excited to continue these special moments with more students across grade levels in the weeks ahead.

Please remember there is no school next Thursday, 10/2.

Wishing you and your family a wonderful weekend!

Annamaria Simonelli, Principal

đźš’Emergency Drills

Conducting emergency drills (fire, crisis, lockdown, etc.) is one of the most important ways we enhance our preparedness for students and staff during an emergency. Drills allow us to practice what we need to do when an emergency arises in our school.

Calf Pen Meadow will be conducting a fire drill next week. This will only be a drill and will be conducted in accordance with the School Incident Management Protocols established by the district and in collaboration with our local first responders.  Please discuss the importance of our emergency drills with your children.  If you have any feedback please reach out to asimonelli@milforded.org.  We thank you for your cooperation and partnership in making our schools a safer place for learning.
