Heart Highlights

January 9, 2026

Happy New Year! I hope you and your children enjoyed a restful and joyous holiday season.

It has been truly wonderful to return to Meadowside this week. I was so touched by the heartfelt “welcome back” decorations created by our students—their kindness and creativity meant more to me than I can express. Walking through the halls and seeing their messages reminded me once again of what a special community we have.

I would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Brenda Anziano, who served as interim principal during my absence. Her leadership, care, and support was so appreciated.

I am equally thankful for our staff, whose commitment to maintaining the exceptional work that makes Meadowside a “great place to learn” never wavers. Their ongoing focus on high-quality instruction alongside their dedication to nurturing a culture of belonging, is essential to the success of each and every child.

I am so grateful to be back and excited for all that 2026 will bring for our school community.

Warmest wishes for a happy and healthy 2026,

Gail Krois

Cold Weather Reminders

Please remember to send your child in with warm weather wear as we still like to get outside for recess as much as possible.  Please take a moment to label hats, gloves and coats - so that if items are misplaced we can get them back to you and your child! We do have a number of coats and sweatshirts in our lost and found, please reach out if there is something that you are missing.
