Heart Highlights

November 14, 2025

Dear Families,

It has been a wonderful first week for me at Meadowside. Gail and I met prior to her departure,
and I am on track to continue the great work already happening here. My focus this week has
been to get my bearings and visit as many classrooms as possible. The Veterans Day assembly
also provided a perfect opportunity to introduce myself to the full school community.
Miss Morin, Mrs. Donofrio, and Mrs. Ansaldo have been incredibly helpful during this transition.
Meadowside has an excellent team, and I want you to know that your children are in very good
hands each and every day.
I have been working in Milford for several years since my retirement from Fairfield Public
Schools, with experience as a teacher evaluator, interim principal, and principal coach. Each of
these roles has helped me learn a great deal about MPS, and I am grateful to now support
Meadowside.
The Veterans Day assembly was truly special. We were honored to have veterans and family
members join us, and our students did a wonderful job. Students Piper Dunn and Noah Bindner
led the assembly beautifully. Ms. Walsh, our music teacher, prepared each grade level for their
performances, and we greatly appreciate her time and dedication.
If you need any support during my tenure, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at
banziano@milforded.org.
Enjoy the weekend!
Brenda Anziano, Interim Principal
