Good Afternoon Meadowside Families -- 

Next Tuesday, we will gather as a school community to honor and recognize the brave men and women who have served in our armed forces. Our Veterans Day Assembly is a meaningful opportunity for students to learn about the importance of service, sacrifice, and gratitude. Our program will be student-led, with students sharing readings, music, and reflections that highlight why we celebrate Veterans Day and how veterans contribute to our communities and our country. We look forward to honoring our veterans together and helping our students develop a deeper understanding of the significance of this day. Please wear red, white, and blue to school. 

We are continuing to collect food items for Milford’s annual Thanks-for-Giving Food Drive. Meadowside will be collecting through Friday, November 14th.  Please send your child in with canned/shelf-stable goods to help support our whole community.

Lock Down Drill: Our second lock down drill of the year is scheduled for next week.  This will only be a drill and will be conducted in accordance with the School Incident Management Protocols established by the district, and in collaboration with our local first responders. Please discuss the importance of our emergency drills with your children.  We thank you for your cooperation and partnership with keeping our schools safe.
